We offer dine-in seating, patio dining, carryout, drive-thru, and online ordering of our fresh hickory-smoked BBQ, served with a side of Southern hospitality! Don't mistake us for "fast food" — we may serve it fast, but our BBQ is cooked low and slow onsite for over 10 hours! Plus, we use special family recipes for that unmistakable hometown flavor.

History
Buddy's bar-b-q has a long local history. Our company has been serving local, hometown BBQ for 50+ years. It all began in 1972, when Carcel and LaMuriel Smothers decided to open a new barbecue restaurant in Knoxville. Since then, Buddy's bar-b-q has found a collective recipe for success in our delicious, homestyle food and our focus on customer service. We've always prided ourselves on our ability to serve consistently good food and great portions for an affordable price, as well as our ability to always offer efficient and helpful service with a smile.
